Physically disabled, medically dependent, and senior cats are disproportionately euthanized due to a lack of essential resources when surrendered to shelters. * 42% of cat surrenders are caused by owners feeling ill-equipped to handle an aging animal and their medical or behavioral problems stemming from such. Seeing as * 46% of owners learned to care for cats through word of mouth, we utilize 100% of our donations to keep people and their beloved cats together
